After the Intensive: Accountability Without a Campus
Families spend their fear on the front door. Will the person agree. Will the house hold. Will anyone find out.
They spend less fear on the back door, which is where a lot of the work is lost.
An intensive — in a facility or in a residence — is a designed weather system. Extra people. Extra structure. Extra eyes. Then the weather lifts. The calendar looks like itself again. The spouse goes back to their own sleep. The counselor is no longer in the hallway. The travel starts. The old hour comes back to see if the furniture remembers.
If you do not plan for that hour, you rented a performance.
